Reporting a bug that actually gets fixed

Because every tool runs inside your browser rather than on a server, there are no logs on our side to look at — whatever went wrong happened on your device and left no trace here. That makes four details worth more than a long description:

If your browser showed an error message, paste it in. Please do not attach the file itself unless you are happy for us to see it — a description of it is almost always enough.

What we cannot help with

We cannot recover a file you have lost. Nothing you process is uploaded, stored or backed up anywhere — that is the whole point of the site, and it is also the one thing it cannot undo. Once a tab is closed, the work is gone. Keep your originals.

Privacy

Emailing us means we hold your address and whatever you write, for as long as it takes to answer you. It is not added to any mailing list — that only happens if you sign up for one yourself. The rest is in the privacy policy.

Business and press

Same address. Put “Business” in the subject line and it will find its way to the right place.

Common questions

Is there a phone number or live chat?

No. instanets.com is run by a very small team, so email is the only channel — but a person reads every message.

How long does a reply take?

Usually a couple of days. If a message needs a code change to answer properly, the reply may wait until the fix ships.

Can you recover a file I lost?

No. Files are never uploaded or stored, so there is no copy anywhere for us to retrieve. Always keep your originals.

Will you build a tool if I ask?

Often, yes. Requests genuinely shape what gets built next, especially when several people ask for the same thing. Tell us what you would use it for, not just what it should be called.
