Do you upload my image?
No. The image opens directly in your browser and the crop is drawn on a local canvas. Nothing is transmitted.
Can I crop to a fixed shape like 1:1 or 16:9?
Yes. Pick a ratio and the crop box locks to it. Choose “Free” to crop to any shape you like.
What is the largest crop I can export?
Output is capped at 4000 px on each side to protect memory on phones. Almost every social and listing size sits well below that.
Which format should I export?
Keep original if unsure. JPEG suits photos, PNG preserves transparency, and WebP produces the smallest file.
Does cropping reduce quality?
Cropping itself does not resample the pixels you keep. Re-encoding to JPEG or WebP applies compression, so raise the quality slider if you need maximum fidelity.
