FAQ
About metadata
Do you upload my PDF?
No. Reading and rewriting happens entirely in your browser.
What is stripped?
Author, title, subject, keywords, producer, creator, modification date and the XMP metadata stream. Some PDF readers may also add a default "Producer" string at save time; we clear it, but a viewer may add a new one on re-open.
Does stripping change the visible content?
No. Pages, text, images and structure are unchanged. Only the info dictionary and XMP stream are cleared.
