Pull tables from a PDF into .xlsx or .csv

Pick a page, detect columns by text alignment, and edit the result inline before exporting. The detection is heuristic — always review the table before relying on it.

✦ Column detection✦ Inline edit✦ XLSX / CSV✦ No upload
Beta limitations: Detection is based on text positions only — true ruled tables work best. Tables with merged cells, image cells, or hand-drawn rules are not supported. Complex multi-table pages may need manual cleanup. Encrypted PDFs are rejected.
💡 Not sure which format you need? PDF to Word or Excel reads your file first, tells you which format will actually work and how well it will come out, then shows you a preview before you convert.

FAQ

About table extraction

How good is the detection?

Tables produced by software (banks, statements, invoices) usually work well. Hand-drawn or visually complex tables may need manual cleanup. Always review the result before relying on it.

Do you upload my PDF?

No. Text extraction and table assembly run in your browser. Powered by PDF.js and SheetJS Community (Apache-2.0) — both lazy-loaded.

Can I add or remove rows & columns?

Yes. The editable table supports inline cell editing. Re-detect columns if the layout is wrong.
